Accessing Land
Accessing land has been clearly indentified as a critical issue for young farmers and community groups. The Community Farm Program focuses on Cooperative or Community ownership of land but there are other options. The Land Consedrvancy of British Columbia (TLC) has some good resources aimed at aquiring and accessing land by lease or other agreements. The British Columbia Cooperative Association has resources for those interested in forming a cooperative either to purchase land or to form workers' coops to work the land.
